If anything when you are thirsty drink water only! I have started a healthy plan diet to drink mostly water, rather than coke or sugar drinks. It has worked so far and I have also lost some weight. I encourage you to try to make a simple healthy plan like mine because it is very rewarding. What helped me to stay on my healthy plan was that I told myself that it would help me be healthier and I wouldn't have to feel so guilty for not working out some days.

Tip: add some lemon to your water. 

Secrets

Ever since I came across Post Secret I have been obsessed with their website and books.  For those of you who don't know what Post Secret is,  "PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard" as stated in the Post Secret website.
I have never mailed in a secret myself but I enjoy reading them a lot because it reminds me of how everyone goes through hard experiences and how strangers can be going through the same experience as one is.

Spark Of Light

Hello,
Being that this is my first blog post I want to explain why I wanted to begin a blog. I first thought about getting a YouTube channel instead of a blog. I would see the channels of many inspiring girls and I wanted to be the same type of role model as the YouTubers of giving advice to girls on fashion, make-up, and other things. I came to a realization that starting a blog would be much easier, safer and fun. Once I started to begin my blog I became super excited because it made me realize that I could help many girls and I still did not know what to name my blog! I first came up with girly cheesy names: Girl in Power and Embrace Your Beauty till I thought about "Girl in a Journey." I thought this name suited me more because the "Journey" would symbolize me helping girls whether that was with fashion or with trying to live a better lifestyle.
